After spending over two decades navigating the fast-paced world of technology and investment banking in developed regions, I found myself craving something greater. The relentless pursuit of the same clients, the lack of risk-taking, and the absence of genuine discovery left me feeling unfulfilled. However, fate had a different plan for me in my later years with FactSet. It was during this time that I stumbled upon a true gem hidden in the bustling markets of Africa and the Middle East.
In these regions, Software Asset Management (SAM) and market data were like these undiscovered treasures, often overlooked and relegated to the realm of technology procurement. It was here that I met my partner-in-crime, Kelvin, whose intimate knowledge of the operational intricacies of these markets complemented my expertise perfectly. Together, we founded Advanced Fintech Options, driven by a shared passion for uncovering the untapped potential within these markets.
As a result, AFO emerged as the foremost independent provider of Market Data services throughout Africa. Our proficiency extends across the entire spectrum of the software real estate, including AWS, Oracle, Microsoft, and SAP solutions.
Our journey took us far beyond mere transactions; it was about connecting with remarkable individuals who had long been undervalued by traditional organizations. Through initiatives like the Financial Information Services Division (FISD), we sought to empower these individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to enhance the ROI of their respective organizations.
But our quest didn't end there. We recognized that the true power of SAM lay in its ability to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of technology. Therefore, our next step in the evolution of Advanced Fintech Options is to revolutionize the entire value chain of SAM by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data analytics.

Consequently, our latest endeavor was born. Inspired by the success of organizations like the UK's Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP), we saw an opportunity to create a similar institution tailored to the unique needs of the African and Middle Eastern markets.
